FLYING IN
Jackson is not the easiest place to get to, but we promise it’s worth the trek. We encourage you to make flight reservations as soon as possible. July is extremely busy in Jackson Hole!

We recommend flying into Jackson, but Idaho Falls and Salt Lake City are also good options. If you don’t want to rent a car, there are bus shuttle services to Jackson from both IDA and SLC.
Jackson Hole (JAC):
30-minute drive to Teton Village/Wilson, 15-minute drive to downtown Jackson.
Idaho Falls (IDA):
2-hour drive to Jackson.
Salt Lake City (SLC):
5-hour drive to Jackson. Long drive, yes, but flights are generally cheaper into SLC.
GETTING AROUND TOWN
If you are coming on Thursday AND staying just for the wedding weekend, you do not need to rent a car. Staying in Teton Village means you’ve got everything at your fingertips. We will have shuttles to the welcome party on Thursday, you can walk to the Post-Toast on Friday, and we will have shuttles to the wedding and reception on Saturday.
If you are staying for longer and you want to explore downtown Jackson or the National Parks, renting a car is a good choice. It is busy during this time of year - the cars are tough to get, and they are expensive, so we highly encourage you to reserve soon, if you choose to rent a car.
You will want to rent from Alamo, Avis/Budget, Enterprise or National, which all have cars at the airport (please note that there are other rental car providers in Jackson; however, they are located in town (with free shuttles), not at the airport).
Uber: Uber has recently become available to the Jackson area; however, this service is quite limited, and sometimes more costly than alternative transportation methods. We recommend calling a local taxi (see below).

Public Transit: The locally operated START bus has multiple routes around the town of Jackson and to Teton Village. Stops along the Town Shuttle routes are free, while Teton Village connections require a small cash fee.

ACCOMODATIONS
We encourage making your flight and hotel reservations asap! It is a busy time of year in Jackson, so getting ahead of the curve will kick down the price as much as possible, which can be very expensive. We encourage all guests to stay in and around Teton Village, as it will be centrally located to all of the events of the weekend; however, there are also plenty of more affordable options in the town of Jackson available for those interested. Transportation will be provided from both Teton Village and the town of Jackson. Please find some of our recommendations below for places to stay when you’re in town:
TETON VILLAGE
The Alpenhof: Established in 1965 and imbued with a “Swiss-chalet” flavor, the Alpehnof is the most economical option in the village. Please call and mention the Frantz/Roberts wedding for a 20% discount.

AirBNB & VRBO: we know that lodging in Jackson Hole can be expensive. Guests have had success finding more affordable lodging through AirBNB and VRBO. We encourage you to use these sites as a resource if you do not wish to go the hotel route; however, there are a limited number of these rentals available in the valley due to local regulations. If you would like to go this route, we highly encourage you to do so asap.
